The production plant in Duchnice was established in 1987 as a joint venture of the Institute of Biotechnology and Antibiotics with the Agricultural Production Cooperative.In 1996, the company was privatised. On 1 July, 2010, Polpharma took over a portfolio of antibiotics and a production department from Bioton.The team in Duchnice includes qualified operators, specialists and managers who ensure the compliance of processes in terms of technology, quality and safety.
