Markus Sieger President of the Management Board

Markus Sieger has spent his career in emerging industries such as information technology and digital media in Switzerland, the United States and Poland and in emerging markets such as Singapore, Poland and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Since the mid-nineties he has successfully managed complex and strategic transactions in the pharmaceutical industry and the fast-moving consumer goods and media sectors. He has been a member of the board of directors for many private and public companies and has been actively involved with Polpharma Group since its privatisation in 2000. Markus was appointed President of the Management Board in June 2016, and in 2018 he joined the Executive Committee of Medicines for Europe.

Bożenna Kozakiewicz Vice President of the Management Board

A graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at Warsaw University, Bożenna Kozakiewicz has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, gained at a number of companies. Since 2000 she has been working for Polpharma. Presently, she is a Vice President of the Management Board of Polpharma SA Pharmaceutical Works. She is responsible for R&D.

Tomasz Moys graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and holds an MBA degree jointly awarded by the University of Gdańsk, the Copenhagen Business School, University of Antwerp and Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. In 1989, he began his professional career at the then Starogard Pharmaceutical Works Polfa (later Pharmaceutical Works Polpharma SA) as a production foreman. From 1998 to 2001, he managed the Department of Quality Assurance and Control, playing a key role in establishing the most important manufacturing facility of Polpharma for the production of solid medicines. Since 2002 he has been the director of the largest operational unit – Pharma. In 2011 he became Director of the Industrial Operations Division, managing operations at the Starogard, Sieradz and Duchnice plants. Since 2012 he has been responsible for all industrial operations of Polpharma Group, both in Poland and abroad.

Simon Clark graduated from the Royal Agricultural College in the UK and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Science and Economics. He is an accomplished commercial executive who has vast and long-term experience in fast-moving consumer goods, consumer healthcare (OTC) and pharmaceuticals (. He has over 20 years of in-depth experience in the pharmaceutical sector in different regional roles, covering both Northern Europe & Scandinavia and Central & Eastern Europe (including Russia and Poland), gained in multinational companies.
He is responsible for the development and execution of commercial strategy for all subsidiaries of Polpharma Group, through accelerating organic growth and acquisitions and developing strategic partnerships.

Board

Wojciech Rosa graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Koszalin University of Technology, Finance and Accounting at the University of Gdańsk, and obtained his MBA through the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development (GFKM) from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He started his career in financial mathematics and capital investment strategies and in 2003 joined Polpharma Group as a financial controller for the Chemia Business Unit in Starogard Gdański. In subsequent years, he has played a key role in the area of domestic and international industrial operations as the Operational Controlling Director. In 2017, he assumed the position of Corporate Finance Director and is responsible for the finances of Polpharma Group in Poland.

Andrzej Dziuban Member of the Board

Board

Andrzej Dziuban graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk in 2003. Subsequently, in 2006, he completed postgraduate studies in Staff Management Psychology in the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. He has been involved with Polpharma since 1990, first as a student at the Company-run “Polfa” School and later as an employee in the Environmental Protection Division. In 2000, he was employed in the HR Department. Since June 2004, as the HR Department Coordinator, he has been working on the implementation of the Company Social Benefit Fund Act and on agreements relating to the provision of services to the employees of Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Polpharma S.A. In 2013, he was elected the employee representative to the Management Board of Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Polpharma S.A.
